Day 2: Cuddling

“So, Darcy, what do you feel like doing today?” Loki asked as they cuddled in front of their fireplace. It was rare that both of them got a day off, and he didn’t want to waste a minute of it. But as he looked down, he saw that Darcy was almost fast asleep.

“Warm,” she mumbled, snuggling closer and pulling gently on his sweater. “Loki. Cozy.”

He gazed fondly at her serene face, pressed a kiss to her forehead, and settled down for something he’d never thought he’d have in a thousand years: an afternoon nap.
