(double prompt from brightki and nonnie!)

“Bite me, bite me, oh fuckin’ bite me.”

Loki’s heard the phrase fly out of Darcy’s mouth on numerous occasions. Usually when she’s having a rough day at work, stressed out over Jane’s charts that she has to double and triple check. He’ll make some sort of witty jab at her, just to push her buttons, just to see the way her lips purse together in anger right before she mutters the inevitable “bite me.”

Honestly, just hearing her say those three little words is starting to do wicked things to his imagination.

He’s standing at the coffee pot one morning, blasting the damned thing to hell. He’s considering using magic to fix it, but for some reason, his magicked coffee does not compare to the brew this simple Midgardian machine produces.

That’s when Darcy Lewis walks by, a smug expression on her face as she leans over and plugs the cord into the wall, bringing the machine to life. Oh

“Looked like you needed a little help,” She says almost mockingly, a victorious smile on her face as she starts her own pot of coffee.

“Bite me,” Loki growls, imitating her words, irritated as he glares down at her.

But then she’s facing him, pushing herself up on her tiptoes, her breathe hot against his ear, sending a jolt right through him. He’s paralyzed for one glorious second as she whispers against his skin, “Maybe one day I will.”

The words float between his ears, hanging there like the divine promise they are. Then her teeth graze his earlobe, and, by the nines, is this really happening right where anyone can walk in and see them? Her tongue darts out for a fraction of a section, teasing him, and he swears he can feel her smile against his skin.

She pulls back just as swiftly as she’d leaned in, grabs her cup of coffee, and departs with a wink. A wink.

“I look forward to it,” Loki replies quietly, more to himself than anything, standing in front of the coffeepot like a dumbstruck fool. But then, it’s not every day you discover a new kink in the middle of the office…
