HEY FOLKS, do you just…want to inexplicably immerse yourself in white, bland, “safe,” unoriginal, heteronormative, overwhelmingly Christian and/or unspecified “generic holiday” (meaning Christian-based or Christian-inspired) “family-friendly fun”? movie plots that I have compiled from Hallmark Channel and its adjunct Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I should warn you, they get very, very repetitive after a while.
*“Holiday,” in this instance, means largely Christmas, with some Thanksgiving and Halloween mixed in. I attempted to do other ones such as Valentine’s Day, until I realized that it was next to impossible to separate the specifically holiday-themed ones from the generic romance ones they play all year, not to mention they don’t seem to advertise the other holiday movies as much, AND I AM TIRED, I AM DONE, NO MORE, NO MORE, I BEG OF YOU, 136 IS ENOUGH.
**A small number of these may have first aired on CBS or ABC Family, but I remember specifically first seeing them on Hallmark, so I’ve included them here, because to me they are part of The Hallmark Experience™.
