Okay so according to the concept art Loki was supposed to be fighting alongside Thor and Odin during the invasion of Asgard and now I need all the fic please and thank you.
Oh man, this would have been so interesting, especially so soon after Loki and Odin had that whole “your birthright was to die” confrontation… Being thrust into a life-or-death situation together might have forced them to gain some perspective.
Just imagine Kurse trying to impale Loki, but then suddenly freezes and keels over, as if struck by lightning. Confused, Loki looks around the battlefield, expecting to see Thor.
But it’s Odin, pointing Gungir at the creature, and Loki can’t remember the All-Father ever looking so enraged.
“Not my son, you monster,” he growls.
I LOVE all this, it really could have been an entirely different movie!
