Both of them realized they have the same issue with their fathers. However Loki thinks Darcy is on the side of the angels while he’s definitely not.
I’ve never watch Hannibal series and only get inspiration after watching The Silence of the Lambs + Loki & Hannibal meme ( Are you sure Loki is the adopted one.)
I’m not really comfortable with those bloody scenes so this vid has no killing scene, even though Coulson’s scene at the end would be much suitable.Also, let’s pretend that Loki will call his father Odin instead of Hannibal.
Just want to prove that Hiddleston will totally kick ass with a psychopath/serial killer … character. Plus, Kat Dennings is totally charming & gorgeous in The news room.
Tony looks at the screens how Nick would see them and is confused by how he manages with them. It’s little, and mostly played off as a joke.
Tony: How does Fury even see these?
Maria Hill: He turns.
Tony: Sounds exhausting.
However.
Later, in Agents of Shield, we see Fury’s toolbox being used:
It’s a computer that basically spins around the user as needed.
You know, rather than having them turn.
Headcanon that Tony built Fury’s toolbox to make his life easier, because he might be a textbook narcissist, but he also genuinely considers the abilities of people he cares about and respects, and works to make their lives easier.
When Darcy gets asked how in the world a quirky nerd like her could get together with an alien supervillain, she is quite aware of what her answer should be. But usually she just says “one morning I opened a cereal box for Jane, and there he was". It annoys Loki so nicely.
Disclaimer: I haven’t read a whole lot of Darcy/Loki that I’ve out and out LOVED. Either it’s waaaay to dark subject matter for my liking or Darcy is too vulgar or Loki is too nice right away. I’m pretty picky at this point.
A Morbid Taste for Ice by sitehound Summary: Stumbling face-first over the frozen body of a friend on the front porch, however, is more than even mostly unflappable Darcy can handle. The obvious suspect is her mentally unstable roommate (Loki). But despite all his other faults, Darcy is certain Loki isn’t the perpetrator. And not just because she’s starting for fall for him….
Why I Loved It: This is BY FAR my favorite of the fics I’ve read. It’s got perfect in character Loki and Darcy. It’s got slow burn. There’s angst that isn’t super angst-y. If I were to write a Tasertricks fic, it would be something like this. It has a mystery and a side of romance. I haven’t found a Tasertricks fic that has sucked me in as much as this one has. Also very sad that this writer hasn’t written more.

Why I Loved It: This is a shorter multi-chap fic, only five chapters. If it were a full fic, flushed out instead of breezing through the relationship development, then it would be HELLA! But still, it’s a truly breath-taking story. Again, a not super-fluff ball Loki. It’s mostly a Loki POV story too, which I really like. Definite smut if you enjoy that as well 😉
Why I Loved It: Every good rec list probably needs some fluff/crack. This one is it. Without being too fluffy or cracky. It’s a great friends to lovers series, without being so sweet it makes your tooth ache. Plus, features Jotun!Loki.
Not Without A Fight by concavepatterns Summary: (Post TDW) The human body was never designed to withstand the power of the Aether. Now Jane is dying and it’s up to Thor and Darcy to save her before time runs out. But when Darcy strikes up an unlikely deal with a certain presumed-dead trickster, it may be her own life that’s on the line.
Currently Reading: I’m still reading this one, on the second to last chapter. This is another fic that I would LOVE to be expanded and really flushed out to see more of the development of the relationship. I really do love slow burns. But it really is a good fic. And I like that it has a bit of plot, rather than being straight up romance. And OF COURSE, there is a bit in the middle where Loki becomes overly concerned for Darcy’s safety (much to his chagrin) and I’m always a sucker for the “damn-it-I-care-about-if-you-die-but-i-hate-that-i-care” trope 😉
So there’s a few…if anyone else has some recs to toss my way, I’d also love to have some!!
